Hello all,

I have a question about hte Cisco 3620 that I just picked up. When it boots after the Smart Init sequence it gives the following error:

%ERR-1-GT64010: Fatal error, PCI Master abort
cause=0x0100E483, mask=0x0CD01F00, real_cause=0x00000400
bus_err_high=0x00000000, bus_err_low=0x31000000, addr_decode_err=0x14000470

I'm not quite sure what that means. The router still powers up fine and works, but it is a little dis-heartening to see any thing that says "Fatal Error" in any kind of computer system. Could someone help me out to find out what that error is? Maybe a link to the problem/solution? I;d appreciate it... Thanks,

Burke

Could be a module failure or slot failure with the chassis itself.
Remove all modules and try one at a time to see if you get the same problem.

If it occurs, try the same module in a different slot.

If the problem occurs again, its the module.

If it only occurs with a module in a particular slot then it's the chassis, and you should get it replaced.
