Hello all.
We have 2 cisco cat 2950 switches in our server room. The guy maintaining it left and we arent able to contact him to get the password. I found instruction on how to reset the password. But before i went ahead and did i, i went to see what else i can dig-up before doing it. I did a network scanner on our network and the 2 switches showed up. ( i used Languard network scanner) within the results the 2 switches shows up as.
IP# (Cisco - Servers)(cisco)
IP# (Cisco - Client )(cisco)
Im new to doing stuff to cisco hardware. What is this server/client thing? Would changing the password mess up the configuration of client/server?
thanks
Laura
