Cisco 2821 + NM-HD-2V + Vic3-2fxs

Hi everyone,


Cisco noob here, wanting to set up a 2821 as a sip trunk/client

my endgame is to have a trixbox with the FXS card being assigned extensions from it.

At the moment the NM and vic3 show in inventory but nowhere to be seen in CCP. SDM 2.5 does not recognize the NMHD2V in slot 1.

PVDMII shows in the unified communications folder of CCP. Also as you can see from the inventory, the NMHD2V does not have a PID and an incomplete VID. Is this the problem?

I want to gain GUI access to the 2 FXS ports so I can start looking at the config options then study the commands being used.

I will need to do the same once an FXO card installed so I can convert PSTN to a sip trunk for the trix box.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
