Hello all,
I'm writing you due to a challenge I'm facing with my companies current Cisco hardware. I've inherited a network that is a t1 connected to a cisco 2600 router (via ethernet, not serial), connected to a PIX 515.
The issue that I'm having, is that i'm a complete noob when it comes to cisco products. Due to some reliability issues, our company has decided to switch from the T1 to a microwave wireless based solution. What are the steps I should go through to facilitate this? I am able to access the PIX through the ASDM gui, but I've had no luck accessing the 2600. Is the command line the only option? if so, what should I change besides the obvious static Ip settings? I've read an incredible amount and I'm learning quickly, I just need someone to sketch it out for me.
