is there a possibility a cisco 1841 router cause spam problems to lan network ?

and if this happens how can be solved?

What do you mean? The 1841 will not email your email server with a bunch of spam...do you mean broadcast traffic? Or do you mean to try and stop spam from ever getting to your email server?

yes i mean to try and stop spam from ever getting to the email server

where can i found configuration examples?

thats not really what a router is for.. you need a firewall or some sort of security appliance to protect against spam..

on your mail server itself you could impliment software like spamassassin and rbl checks etc...

We've got a mailfoundry appliance, by sunmicro that does the trick for us. the security on an 1841 i think leaves a little to be desired but i agree with plshlpme. that's not what a router is for, and if you try to, could cause anomalys (SP) behavior.
