hi , i have a cisco 1841 router...

i am trying to set it up so can accept many frame-relay point-to-point connections via a 2Mb line..

do i have to configure my serial interface with multiple subinterfaces?
can anyone help me?

do i need to set ip routes to succeed this scenario?

well you will need some sort of routing set up..
because at each one of your locations you will also have a lan subnet..

your spoke sites can most likely just use a default route back to the hub site.

but your hub site will need a route to all the lans of the spoke sites so it can make its routing decision..

if the network is small then static routes will do the trick..
but at a certain point you will want to go to an ospf or eigrp setup as the statuc routes can get tedious when you have so many..

it depends on how often you expect changes at your sites as well..

so, for example some ip routes for my hub site could be

ip route x.x.x.x 255.255.255.0 serial0.1

ip route y.y.y.y 255.255.255.0 serial0.2

is this correct?

ya...

and then each spoke site would have something like:
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 s0.1

can anyone help me about which module/interface card i need to set cisco 1841 router with a 2Mp frame-relay connection?

2mb as in e1?
WIC-1T should do it assuming your isp is going to demarc on some sort of csu..

if you need to do the csu in the router then youll need something like
VWIC2-1MFT-T1/E1

my 2mb line terminates with 2 bnc connectors...

is there a wan interface card for cisco 1841 which support this?
