Hi,
I purchased a cisco 1720 with CSU/DSU from ebay.
I'll be using it with a T1 (to be installed in about 2 weeks) to share the 1.5 amoung 6 systems.

Anyway, I have zero experience with networking.
Can anyone give me any pointers. The router did
not have any software / manuals with it.

Thank you in advance. Any help would be hugely appreciated.
Take care
Tim

I may be able to point you in the right direction. First of all is the line going to be point-to-point or Frame Relay? Ask your ISP for the following information and then maybe I can send you a basic config.

What is the LMI Type?
What is the DLCI # (if Frame Relay)?
What is the IP address info? (This should be provided by your ISP)

Also are you going to need this router to perform NAT?

I really do appreciate it.
The t1 will not be frame relay.
I will have 6 pc's tied to this t1.
I am streaming video to a CDN. The CDN
will be given the IP & port # that I am streaming
through for each.

Basically I need to divide the bandwidth among each or
6 pc's. each pc will have it own ip which will need to be visible to the outside world.

I hope I am making sense. I truly do appreciate the help.
Thanks again,
Tim
