CIM Port on ex controller?

Hi guys, does mitel ex controller supports ASU-II? Can you buy a CIM Port module for the ex controller? Thx

Good morning,

The EX doesn't support ASUII's, 4 or 16 port FXS cards only. Another option would be to install a SIP to Analog Gateway such as a Grandstream GXW4224.

About EX Controller
2.4 Supported Hardware Configuration
The EX Controller has eight slots for accommodating the following cards:
• 1 port PRI (T1/E1) card
• 1 DSP card (required one per chassis when using an FXS or FXO card)
• 4 port FXS card
• 4 port FXO card
2.4.1 Sample Configuration
A sample EX Controller configuration has:
• 2 PRI cards
• 1 DSP card
• 4 FXS cards (providing 16 FXS ports)
• 1 FXO card (providing 4 FXO trunks

The ASUII is end of life. Mitel has replaced the ASU's with their new SIP ATA's. Check out AG4124 (24 port) and AG4172 (72 port) as the model numbers of those devices.
