Hi, i'm nearly newbie on this argument. I would re-activate CIL, (i was told that this service manual-stopped, cuase there was no db-collector-software..), to send data to a rs-232 port on pc, but:

<CLTGI;
NOT ACCEPTED
OUT OF SERVICE

<CLINP;
CALL LOGGING DATA
CALL LOGGING MODE: NOT ACTIVATED
HEADER FORM DMPSIZ DISCR IN SERVICE LOGABN
POLITE 2 1 0 NO NO
ORIG DIAL TIME
ALL 0 ALL
ALL 79999 ALL
ALL 9 ALL

END

<IODDP;
I/O DEVICE DATA
NODE IODEV/SUBFS EQU/BPOS SIPOS VEND/USAGE STATUS
SYSN - 001-0-70 - - IN SERVICE
SYSN SYSDISK1 001-0-70-0 3 ADTX IN SERVICE
SYSSUBFS11
SYSSUBFS21
SYSN SYSTERMINAL 001-0-70-1 - MML -
SYSN SYSTERMINAL2 001-0-70-2 - MML -
SYSN SYSTERMINAL3 001-0-70-3 - MML -
END

What i should do?
best regards, thanks in advance.

Print commands ICFUP; and ACFUP; and post them on here :eek:)

Please ignore my last post, I was not meant to post that *whoops* :eek:) that is for another problem :eek:D

Print EDEQP this should tell us if you have a SIU card in the switch and if it's live.

Then EDFIP to see if a file has been allocated to a device ID.

<CLDFP;
COMMAND UNKNOWN

(i THINK because is bc9)

<EDEQP;
EXTERNAL DUMP EQUIPMENT DATA
DEV EQU PRIO
SI-0 1-0-30-0 C
END

<EDFIP;
FILE ADMINISTRATION
FILE STATE DEV DEVICE STATE PRIO
POLITE ACT
SI-0 EQUIPMENT OFF LINE C
END

Ok, you need to attach a terminal to the equipment and then command:

EDICP to see how the interface is set up. COnfigure your terminal the same. (ie Baud rate 9600, 8, 1, none etc.)

Then command

EDFTP:DEV=SI-0;

to do a function test on the equipment. This should show a printout on the terminal of the full alphabet an numeric characters.

If this tests ok, then you should try CLTGI once more and see if the command executes with the terminal connected. You will see the data printing out on the terminal.

Let us know how you get on :eek:)

<EDICP: DEV=SI-0;
INTERFACE CHARACTERISTICS
DEV BAUDR WORDL STPBIT PARITY ELLEV PROC
SI-0 9600 7 1 EVEN V28 NO

...i configured rs232 of the pc with same data, but is not working. I thing this is caused by cable (ericsson original, i suppose), because with a rs232 tester i don't see the rd led on. Anyone has mappings of connectors?

What is the number of the cable you are using? It should begin TSR xxx xxxx

number of part is: tsr 9010471/1 (!) I noticed that is the SAME cable number that is used for console... In terminal shells, siu-cable has much more wires (~20) than in the console cable (11 wires). But one works, and one NOT. I will try to revert these.. I would replicate the workin' cable schema on that which is non working, but there are much wires with the SAME colors...
Thank You for any idea.
Best regards.

I inverted cables.... they're absolutely the same.
Something's going wrong in my mind....

just end the CIL function including the SIU board,
then reactivate again and it will work fine.
this is due to the non-presence of output device so may be the MD goes worng in PU's,
also try restarting the CLOM program unit using command:

RFPUI:LIM=x,UNIT=CLOM;

replace x with lim number where SIU board installed.

East Or West Google Is The Best

ok, THANK You very MUCH!
It worked fine! (fiuuu....) and i have the output on channel 2
of winfiol (..and now begins the research for a fine sotfware for CIL...)

Best Regards and thanx again for helping me!
