Hi,

i´ve the following problem:
external incomming call to an extension.
the extension is forward to a mobile.

in CIL i see calling number = external nummber
dialed number= external number.

But i don´t see the extension.

What can i do ?????

I shouldnt have thought you'd see the "extension" number,

you will see the originating CLI, eg

0191 222 2000 rings

0207 100 1000 (extension 1000 ddi number)

1000 ECF to mob. 07952 777777

mob will see 0191 222 2000 or PUBLIC or NETWORK
wont see 0207 100 1000 or 1000
if thats what I think your asking.

I think its because even though the MD has ECF'd the call, the call has not been made from 1000 but has a trunk to trunk transfer via the original 0191 call.

somone may proove me wrong, but thats what I would expect !

have done a test....

site I am on does not pass CLI

ok,

test 1

ext: 5598, ECF to my mobile
ring 5598 from work mobile, personal mobile shows "PUBLIC"

test 1a

ring personal mobile from work mobile, CLI is shown as work mobile

test 2

"other" company who sends CLI out, rings ext 5598, ECF to personal mobil, mobile shows "PUBLIC"

don;t know exactly what that prooves, but hope that helps

maybe i was not exactly enough.

On phone i see the right number. But in call accounting i have this problem.

you need to explain it further ?

exactly what is wrong the billing from you telephone company ?

give us a run-down of the full sceanrio

cheers

Okay.

in call accounting you have to number:
1.) calling number (Extension)
2.) Dialed number

my extension ECF to my mobile.

now an external cal to my extension. handy rings . 2 Minutes small talk. End of talk.

Normally in call accounting there´s a string like this:

1.) calling number (Extension) : 2526
2.) Dialed number : 017984545454

in my call accounting:

1.) calling number (Extension) : 777777
2.) Dialed number : 017984545454

the six digits, because our field calling number has 6 digits.

Case 1. Normally:
date time beg time end duration EXTENSION
%% 09:01 09:01:13 09:01:44 00:00:31 2526 0003 00 017984545454 661545

Case 2. MY CASE:
date time beg time end duration EXTENSION
%% 09:01 09:01:13 09:01:44 00:00:31 777777 0003 00 017984545454 661545

UFFF.

I Hope that´s enough for you.

What BC release do you have? An ECF call should always show the diverting extension as calling number.

Sorry, please state the CNI version as well.

Which format do you use for the Call Logging?

are you saying that the prinout from your call logger program is showing 777777 ?

do you know what the MD is putting out.

connect a PC to the output of your CIL port and set to same speeds etc. use hyperterminal or winfiol etc to see what output you are getting.

This will be the RAW data output as sent to the call logger program

when you make a call you should see the MD make an output.

we need to see if the 77777 is from the MD or the CIL prog is doing this

cheers
