Anyone know how I can find out CID info on a bellsouth line from 1999

Maybe if you had a CID box on the line, didn't use it much after that and kept new batteries in it...

yes, i am trying to find out who owned a line in 1999. Long story, short question. Thanks for the educated answer hbiss

I'm guessing that you could try contacting the local AT&T Business Office (assuming they now control the NPA/NXX) and ask.

I don't know how far you will get with them, but it can't hurt to try. Google and Yahoo search engines might be of help, but no guarantees there.

There is legal recourse (if it's that kind of problem). But I'm not sure how far back telco records go. As Dexman suggests, you may have to do a little investigating yourself.
