CICS/VoiceTech - ring time not lng enough for huntgroup 1

Hi,

I need to lenghten the time a huntgroup rings before a call is forwarded back to/grabbed back by a Voice Tech perscription system.

Scenario:
Caller comes into CallPilot AA, presses 1 to goto pharmacy. This forwards the call to the VoiceTech system (x222 on an E-ATA)

VoiceTech instructs caller to hit 1 for perscription or to hit 2 to speak to pharmacist. On 2 the Voicetech forwards to my huntgroup 290.

At this point the customer wants the call to the huntgroup to ring forever. But the call goes back/or is grabbed back by the Voicetech after 5 rings.

Ive tried several things but nothing seems to work.

Any thoughts/help appreciated.

Extend the transfer callback to it's limit I think that is 12.

There might be one other place that you will want to check...

Go into the System -> System Prgrming -> Hunt Groups and type in 290 -> find Q Timeout and change to 150.

This will extend the hunt group ringer and not forward to the next queue if any programmed in the hunt group.

You can send the call back to it on hunt group by set the forward to the hunt group on DN this will create a continues loop in the hunt group and the call will not be forwarded to a new DN the ring in hunt group are timed 15 being 4 ring

That did the trick. The customer is satisfied that the staff will answer within 12 rings, and then if not go back the VoiceTech AA.
