CI cards and programming

i dont have a system in front of me but do these parameters show up regardless of the card installed? (CI or DS) or do they pop up once you install the CI card?

Telco Features:
- Feature assignment
- show line: 001
-**caller ID: y****<----this one*******
-extnl VMsg: n
- Called ID: Y <-------this one********

in other words when i go into software version 6.1 and go to terminals and sets>telco feature>feature assignments>show line:001> and it doesnt say caller id set:y/n, it just says External VMSG set:N. does this mean they didnt install a caller id card?

im dialled in remotely and cant remember.

The lines have to be programmed to ring on the set to get caller id option.

You would see it even if the card CI card is not installed.
