I have used the Chromeless window feature in Dreamweaver4 to open an image in a window - how can it be set to close if the user clicks outside the thw window or another page to automatically close it? like an onblur event?

I can put the onblur statement into the body tag of a html file, but an jpg or bmp, or gif...??

any ideas anyone...

Dreamweavers Chromeless Windows IS javascript based - however the script is so big I didnt want to upload it here. Besides I figured that the guys/girls on a Dreamweaver forum would already be aware of that - If you really-really nedd it I can upload it in two or three parts.

Sorry,

What I meant is that the calling window knows about the new window it's opened, via (I think) the document DOM, any other area on the screen will not as they are not associated with the browser.

I've not got the chromelss window option onmy version - is it something you have downloaded from macromedia exchange? If so try contacting the author.

Cheers

John
