Christmas Wish List from Norstar 2

What would you like to see from Nortel on the Norstar systems?

My personal wish list is:

1. ATA devices that have Caller ID outputs, by that I mean you can hook up a standard analog Caller ID telephone to an ata and see the originating ext or telephone number on the display or originating name. Caller ID outputs also include the FSK call waiting indicator embedded in them.

2. 73XX telephones that display two lines of incoming call data.

3. T-1 capability on the CICS, the cics software has the channels reserved out for t-1 but cannot put in the card. this would be useful for networking smaller offices.

4. be able to use the RAD for backing up voicemail as well as the phone system.

Who else has anything to add to this list?

All above are great suggestions. I'd like to add:

External Call forwarding using line flash not conferencing.

T Series phones with designation tags that will fit a printer and line up with the software.

I like the T7310 so we can still use the hard buttons instead of the hideous paper type. And better access for the Call Pilot remote dial-in.

Hey Pat, sounds like someone took out their Nextira issues on you my frirnd. Have you become part owner and not let any of us know?

Lastly, for SScott1234, the Call Pilot has a Auto Login mode, which eliminates need for password entry.

My wish is a simple one.

Have Nortel have a built in flashing red light on the phone to let people know that they have new messages. The LCD is hard to read in bad lighting and angles.

How about a full duplex speakerphone on the T7316. Nortel's speakerphones stink.
