I hope someone can help. We have recently "upgraded" to Office 2002. We use Access as a front end to a SQL Server 2000 database. Under access 2000, whether in a view or a table itself, the records scrolled smoothly. Now, under Access 2002, in a table or view, once data is either filtered or sorted in any way, scrolling with the side bar or arrow keys is really choppy (and annoying). Is there something that can be done to eliminate this other than creating Zillions of views?

Never heard of this. I'd do a search on google to see what you can come up with. It may be some level of dll hell you've just entered. There's a smooth scrolling feature in either windows or access that you can turn on and off. I'd try turning that off, as it often makes scrolling really ugly. But it sounds like you're dealing with something more involved than that.

Thank you for the reply. I've searched the MS knowledge base, google, and a number of other tech sites with no luck. The only really odd thing is that our systems with Office 200 still on them work fine and the 2002 systems do not. I even installed the 2 service packs on my system with no luck. Anyway, thank you again for the reply, if I find anything I will be sure to post it.
