Have a bar with 2 service well terminals on either side of the bar with chit printers that are used for waitresses to order drinks. However, when an item is ordered, the chit prints on both service printers at both ends of the bar. I need the chits to only print on the terminal which they are ordered.

I created a "bar" printer group and added both service printers to the group. I then assigned the printer group to each item that requires a chit. This is obviously is why chits are printing at both printers, but how do configure to create the scenario I described above?

Is this configured with events, job codes, menus, or job groups or a combination of any of these?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

try the event 'Reroute Print by Terminal'. Create a printer group for each terminal with their corresponding printers.

Thanks for the quick response. Will that routing be specific to chit/order printing and not the guest check printer as well?
