We have an application that is using RS on SQL2005. I create a report with the web application that contains Chinese characters and the characters display correctly in the preview. When I export it to pdf Chinese is now ???. I have installed the East Asian language files on the server. Can anyone tell me what else needs to be done for pdf?

Chinese in RS pdf export

No. The report would not work in those formats. I did some more research on Chinese language in Reporting Services PDF.
This site pretty much says that getting RS to export to pdf with East Asian characters is not going to happen in the near future. I found that Arial Unicode MS worked for Chinese characters. I understand that this font is not always consistent but it will get us through Chinese.
