Can anybody please instruct me step by step on how to print the simplified Chinese characters on a 3400 intermec printer. The IPL sample program must not include any control character. I need to print this through DOS and not through a third party software or the intermec printset application.

Don't know if this will help, but we print Japanese, Chinese Simplified and Chinese Traditional, on Zebra 105 thermal label printers from SAP. We had to buy an EPROM for each lanaguage. You could download fonts, but the Asian fonts are lange and so it could be very time consuming. We had to convert from Windows fonts to Unicode and send the Asin ideographs as hex values. Intermec's web site or technical support should be able to help you.
