Folks,

Another update...

Issues addressed:

1) Chilkat v98 compatibility.
2) Much better multi-language support for ChilkatVFP dialogs.
3) New document "Using the Chilkat Class Library", using language changes as a proxy for understanding the class library construction.

Is there a way to make a REST call using ChilKatVFP from Foxpro 2.6? Any DLL or FLL's out there that could help?

Hello,

AFAIK Foxpro 2.6 is 16 but so it cannot call 32 bit dlls.
I would write a little tool in VFP9 using chilkat and "communicate" via files in 2 directories \in\ and \out.
Your program writes into \in, starts vfp9tool and checks \out

Best regards
tom

We do something like that , running several tools on a "JOBPC" , they handle REST and other external calls so that workstations only need internal LAN.

Instantiation of the Chilkat DLL is done by CREATEOBJECT() or NEWOBJECT(), which aren't FP 2.6 functions. tomk3 has a possible workaround.
