Hi There

I have created a new route and when I try to add trunks to it I keep getting a CHID error:
SCH3162
In LD 14 a duplicate CHID has been entered. This CHID already exists.

Severity: Info

How do I see which channel ID I can use for these trunks?

Kind Regards

When I try adding trunks to this route it gives me the channel ID error. I pretty much copied a SIP route I already had.

Kind regards

Hi KCFLHRC

I have managed to find my problem, I was using DCH 60, which already had 279 trunks, instead of DCH 65 which is the new one I created.

Kind Regards
BazzieB

Ok, so I had an issue, I copied one of the SIP DCH's that were already there, but when I added trunks to it, it seems to have conflicted with an existing SIP route. I started receiving the following error which I don't really understand:

PRI227 VIRTUAL DCH: 65 DATA: 00000002

PRI241 VIRTUAL DCH: 60 DATA: 000000EC
!
>err pri241

>

PRI0241
Protocol Error: No response from far end to this PRI call. Output data:
DCH: x DATA: y . Where: x = D-channel number and y = B-channel number.
Report problem if condition persists.
Severity: Critical

Hopefully someone can assist.

After I deleted the virtual trunks, and rebooted the NRS everything came back up.

Kind regards
BazzieB

you cannot build 2 dch for sip and h323 routes same system
