Checkpoint NG Upgrade 1

Hi all,

I'm planning to upgrade our Checkpoint NG FP3 which runs on a Windows 2K Server to the new version of Application Intelligence(R55). Does anyone know the procedure of doing the upgrade, I download the manual but it's like a book.
Is there any problem that I should look out for.

Hi,

Make sure you have plenty of space on the drive and dump your logs before the upgrade. The logs take forever to convert.

I haven't done it in a while but if memory serves me, it was pretty much Wizard driven and not too much intervention on your part.

I would back up the firewall in case of issues.

Sorry I did not get back to you earlier. I actually did the upgrade last week without a hitch.
Yes your right it was pretty much straight forward.
