Checkpoint Express Hotfix

Does anyone knows how to install a Checkpoint Express Hotfix?

background:
I just got this Nokia130 and CheckPoint AI installed, and tried to install the license, but every time when i install the license, i received a warning message saying my feature is not found in CP.MARCO, and license may not be comptablile. I contacted Checkpoint, they told me to install a hotfix from their site, i download it, but have no idea how to install it. I already FTP the TGZ file inside my Nokia, but can't open it.
here is the name of the file: cpshared_ALI_542000007_1

Any suggestion or tips will be really appreciate.

I would guess that you would install it using newpkg -i as you would any other software on a Nokia.

Thanks for your reply, what exactly is the command to do this,

newpkg -i "filename" ?

i would really appreciate if you could tell me that, or do you have any command reference site that i could look it up. Thank you.

I had the same issue.

If the 130 is an IPSO platform, do a chmod +x cpshared_ALI_542000007_1

and the./cpshared_ALI_542000007_1
to run

You enter:

newpkg -i

It will then prompt where to get the file from e.g. FTP server or local disk

I was wrong and madvlad1 is quite correct.

newpgk -i does not pick up the hotfix files. The method of installation is contained in the hotfix documentation.
