I have several fields which are Yes/No. I need to be able to show the check boxes or options whether it is yes or no. Right now, the yes will be checked, but if the value is no, it just leaves yes unchecked. How can I make the no boxes checked when the value is no? I've seen this done, but can't seem to get it to work.
Thanks a lot!!
Michelle

Hi Michelle

Add another check box to your report and give it a control source as below:

Code:
-1 * [PutTheNameOfYourOriginalCheckBoxHere]

This will then be unchecked when your first box is checked and checked when the first box is empty. [pc2]

I tried that, but it checks both checkboxes when the value is yes and checks neither when the value is no. Maybe I am missing something in the properties. I tried copying and pasting the expression you gave in the reply, replacing PutTheNameOfYourOriginalCheckBoxHere with PrimaryComputer (the field name associated with the checkbox). It gave me syntax errors when I tried to run the report. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
I appreciate the help a lot, thanks!!

Thanks, that worked! But is there a way to leave them blank until checked yes or no? This solution seems to default the value to No and checks yes only if the value is yes.
Thanks again for all of your help!
Michelle
