Checking the SSC card

Looking for info on how I can check what my SSC cards hardware level is in programming.
I have an SSC card that the faceplate says is a "CA" yet the Nortel Label on it says it is a "GA".
Is there anyway I can look in programming to get the hardware info from.
I know on many boards I can go to LD 32 and "IDC" them, or I can go to LD 17 and "Inv Generate Cards" but neither will work for the SSC itself.
It doesn't show on the Boot either...So I would really appreciate any help from anyone out there. Thanks!

Sorry bhassell2000 it doeasn't work...I did try that one already...and the s/w level is 25.15...

I don't think you can get the actual SSC item code.

For release 25.15 the minimum version should be

11C/Cabinet NTDK20CA Rlse 24.25 with 4 –5 cabinets – 25.XX and Succession 3.

The minimum software daughterboard should be a

NTTK13AA 48 Meg Rlse 24.25 – 25.XX and Succession 3

You can also use a NTTK25AA 48 Meg Rlse 25.XX and Succession

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

So firebirdscrammbler, there is NO WAY in programming to verify the H/W itself on an SSC card??? I find that really asinine on Nortel's part if that is so...Are we just supposed to blindly trust the information on an easily removed and replace sticker and faceplate?

what do you get if you go to LD 135 and STAT CPU?

Sorry Mike---but there is NO way to tell the vintage in programming--it is what it is---or was!!
BUT---both the CA and GA have the same DRAM and that can be viewed in LD 135

ld 135
stat mem

SRAM: 128 kb
DRAM: 16 Mb--------------------this is the mem on the SSC
Program Store: 32 Mb-------software DB
Flash Drive: 16 Mb ---software db
the program store and flash combined is 48 mb------so it is either an NTTK25AA or NTTk13AA

does the hardware not identify itself during s'ware load, unfortunately this means you need to put the install media in & look at the tools menu in utilities???? Not 100% sure but think that’s right

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder
