Checkboxlist and mandatory selection

Hi,

I have a check box list on a page and the user is able to select upto 5 values. I want to be able to detect if the user has not selected any values. If the user has not selected an option then I want to be able to trap this error and avoid the "... not set to an instance of an object ..." message.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

You need to create a custom validation control.
