Checkboxes on a report 1

Does anyone know of an easy quick and preferably free way to make the check boxes on a Clarion 5 report darker, the "X" is really thin and hard to see especially when the report is faxed.

In Properties you can change font of the checkbox, for example bigger and bold...

It does not change the "X" that is placed in the checkbox, changing the font to bigger and bolder only affects the text associated with the box not the actual mark that is placed in the box, it is a very thin line "X" which I would like to make darker so it can be senn better, if this makes sense.

I have tried changing the font but to no avail.
