We have a 81C with a Cisco call manager, we are trying to call a remote site in Colorado that is hooked to a Octel. When dialing from a Nortel phone it gets stuck on the far side into a menu service, when dialing from one on the cisco phones it will ring to the persons extension on the far end. I have traced both calls, they go out the same route and loop number for long distance. Why would the cisco call connect and the nortel call not connect? Any help would be great! Thanks!!

sound like your not send dtmf after answer supervision. of course it could be one of about 6 million other things. Can you complete the call from an analog ext on the 81?

I tried from a Analog line and it did the same thing.

Does Call Manager go through M-1 or vice versa? Could be lack of answer supv on Octel, EOD timer, etc. What does TRAC...DEV say?
