I'm using Crystal Enterprise XI and have reports that are scheduled to be run and emailed. Is there a way that I can have the server check the contents of the report to make sure that there are records in it before it sends out the email? I want to try and prevent blank reports being emailed out.

Thanks!

Does someone have a solution for this? i have the same problem. we have reports to audit our batch jobs and even when there are no errors, the email is being sent. i want to restrict sending emails based on the record count or condition of some sort. is this possible?

I'm no expert on how you would be able to do this in CE, but if you are willing to consider a 3rd-party solution, at least one of the Report Managers listed at: allows you to specify that scheduled exporting/emailing/printing should be aborted if the report contains zero records.
