Is there a quick and dirty way to test for a floppy in the floppy drive without generating an foxpro error (or win 98 sys I/O error) if there is no floppy in the drive? Thanks. FP26.
I have a binary file "isdiskin" which does what you want.
Search the web for it and if you can't find it drop me a line at tilltek@hotmail.com and I'll Email it to you.
Works every time.
We use ZDrvStat. It's public domain and will let you check for the existence of a drive, the current status (RO, Writable) and whether it has a disk in it. Do a search for zdrvstat. If you can't find it, I can send it to you.
