i connect to a telnet nix shell server running on linux fedora. is there a way to code a script so the users on the server logged in can talk 2 each other. Maybe a bash script or somthing that can be in all their home dirs that they can run?

nocty, you said the keyword. Try talk or write or for broadcast wall (write all).
