Hi, i am in the process of making a community website and i am looking for a good chat program. Is there anybody out there that can tell me a good place to find one.

There are a few things i need in the program:-

1. I need to have full control over the room, eg. Ban user etc.

2. I would prefer if the user was not required to register there handle. eg. Type handle and enter.

3. The most important of all. The room must only be accessible from my site and not listed in a chat list.
This is important because of the nature of the site.

Please can anyone help me as i`ve searched for days and can`t find one to suit my needs.

Thanks in advance.

Wullie

Try this site: its good, you get chat rooms, guestbooks and alot more for free...total control
Hope it helps... I have not failed; I merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

On a related note if you want to stop search engine robots from indexing you pages then put a text file called robots.txt in you root directory.

Example content:

User-agent: *
Disallow: /admin/

User-agent: *
Disallow: /chat/
