I am creating a report that needs to show a chart and it's corresponding detail. Is there a way to have the chart show across the full width of the page but place the detail into the multiple column format? When I attempt to do this, the detail that shows in the second column is going to the top of the page and covering the right half of my chart. I am using CR XI. The layout is like this:

I have two groups. The first is the product family. The second is the individual products in that family. I am showing the product family and it's sum total in group header 1. The products and their sum total are in group header 2. The chart is in an additional line placed above group header 1.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

So you have had to check "format groups with multiple columns" correct? Instead of doing this, consider using a subreport to create the data you want in multiple columns and place the subreport in the group header #2.
