I want to create a combination bar and line chart. Does Crystal 8 have that capability?

I do not for sure if it does, but if it doesn't, you can overlay two charts; one a line and one a bar. I have done this before.

How do you get it so you can "see through" the chart on top? When I overlay them, I am unable to view the chart on the bottom.

Right Click and invoke the "Chart Analyzer".

Select "Format Chart", and "Series...".

Select the series you want and change its
"Always Show Selected Series As:"
from "default for Chart Type" to
your choice of "Riser", "Line" or "Area".
