Hi there,

I have a simple Chart in a Excel spreadsheet with labels that are set by a cell reference, e.g. =Data!E1 which simply have the text 'N/A**' in it.

I designed this in Excel 2002, and all is well in the world ;) Until some of my users got upgraded to Excel 2003. Now my label texts are being reversed. In Excel 2003 the graph label is being shown as '**N/A' for some reason.

I can't find any valid reason for this. Has anyone seen this before? I am assuming it has something to do with the '*' but don't really know what.

Hi,

Double click the data labels and check the setting of 'Right to Left' 'Text direction' on the Alignment tab. Maybe it is set to Right to left.

Cheers
Andy
