A while back I created an .xla file using the instructions in
I need to modfiy the file's comments.

When I try to go to the file's properties (as per step 2 in "How to Save the Workbook as an Add-In File"), it is not an available option.

Does anyone know how I can make this modification?

Thanks,

In the VBE, select ThisWorkbook for your AddIn (or whatever you may have renamed it) then in the Properties window change IsAddin to false. Switch back to the main XL screen then select File|Propeties from the menu and add/edit the Comments section. Reverse these steps and be sure to save from the VBE after you've buttoned everything up.

Regards,
Mike
