Changing time zone on Admin Console (WSS 3) 1

Does anyone know how to change the time zone on the Admin Console site?

I know that for a normal site collection it can be done through Site Settings -> Regional Settings, but I can't see the equivalent option for the Admin Console.

I have also changed the default time zone on the admin console's web app, but the admin console site already exists (with US date format) so this change has no effect.

PS, I raised this question here last year but it got no bites. Trying again in case anyone has encountered and solved the same problem since then

copy and paste the URL of the regional settings from the portal to the Central Admin. I've done this before..

So, paste the "_layouts/regionalsetng.aspx" after your Central admin URL...
