I want to use the debug procedure to obtain the admin and config password on a DR5 8X24 30MUJ20. I want to keep all existing programming in tact. In order to do so I must change the time and date, as far as I can tell you need the config or admin password to change time and date. Is there another way to change the time and date. I have tried using my fastrad and NRU 8.1, too no avail, Do I need a NRU release earlier than 8.1 like release 1.0. Where can I obtain a copy of it ? What OS will this NRU release work ?

If you have a RAD on the system you can log in with remote set and chance the password

I figured it out. I downloaded Norstar Manager 3.5 from Nortel web site (burned the file to CD, loaded the file for Win98 into my Win98 machine, connected my RAD to the KSU and my Win98 machine to the RAD via a DB9/DB9 (serial cable), I then ran QUICK CONNECT from Norstar Manager, after configuring it correctly I was able to connect to the KSU, then from Norstar Manager I chose the Program menu then the System sub/menu then System Passwords.

I told you you could use 8.1 remote set it would have been faster

Would you be so kind as to explain how you would use the remote set found in NRU 8.1 to obtain the config+admin password. Thanks.
