Hello,

We are planning to change the PRI provider for our phone system. We are going to use DB15 from Bell.

As I learnt from this thread thread798-1579431, I will check IFC of each DChannel to make sure it match the protocol of the provider

Anyone have an idea which Dchannel protocol does Bell use?

Other then disconnecting and connecting the new PRI provider DB15 cable and maybe and I said maybe need to reboot the system.

Any guide or helpful tips (or should I say tek-tips) to make the migration smooth.

Thank's

Learning is not enough, you have to apply it...

Typically everyone is using NI2 Protocol now

If you have to change protocol you may very well need to out the trunks, route and d-channel and rebuild.

Wow... it was a qucik answer Just for that I am giving you star :)

That's what I am worried about because right now we are using the SL1.

If your interface is SL1 that is typically used for Tie Lines to another Nortel PBX. However, I have seen it used when the protocol is Custom and you are interfacing with a DMS.
