I am looking to change the IP address of my new 2008 PDC (10.80) to the old 2003 PDCs IP address (10.15). So when I'm done the 2008 PDC will be at (10.15). What problems should I be aware of?
I'm glad to say that I'm surrounded by smart people on this site.
I have googled the issue all week. I know how to change an IP address. I was wondering the impact on changing a PDC DC. Trying to cover all my bases. I was thinking that I would put this out on this forum just in case I missed something. Obviously the techs that responded are in doubt as me on the impacts unless they would've come up with an idea
After reading the first three Google hits, I would say that it shouldn't be an issue. As long as DNS is returning the correct IP address for that DC you should be fine.
If you're in doubt, you can always run DCDIAG, NETDIAG and REPADMIN to verify that there are no issues. In fact, I would recommend running those commands FIRST before you change the IP so that you know that you have a before and after perspective. It would suck to spend hours tracking down an issue reported by DCDIAG thinking that it was caused by the re-IP when it actually was a pre-existing issue.
Also, there is no such thing as a PDC in Active Directory.
Your initial post did not say that you had already researched using Google. We are not psychic.... Also your use of the term PDC is outdated, there is no PDC anymore only a PDC Emulator, again if you knew that you did not make it clear.

If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions?

Won't be any issues but except for the replication time for the address and records to update.
Strongly suggest setting the primary dns server on this machine to one of the other dc's until all the other dc's are synced, then change it back to itself.
Are u going to transfer the domain from the old to the new one?If yes........threads says that there should be no issuse, but for me there were issues. You will have to transfer the name of the machine also.I add a similar thread here.I think it was roles transfering. If not, since u r going to "silence" the old one,its ok.I will try to find something more.....
