Open Enterprise Manager

Right click on the server and select "Properties"

Click on the database settings tab of the dialog window

At the bottom of the dialog window either enter the new location or click on the elipsis to the right and set the path

Hope this helps
Gary

does this apply to SQL Server 7 as well?

I have my EM open, in database settings and I can't see what you're talking about.

I'm not on the actual SQL box, I don't know if this makes a difference or not...

TIA
