I have VFP 6.0 and creating my own class library named
"My Classes". In it I created a class name "Cmdbase" for a command button, however I can't change the color of the command button to grey, it defaults to the VFP Library white and I don't know how to change it. Can anybody HELP??
Thanks !

The color grey is determined by Windows Display, not VFP. You could place a colored bitmap, in the picture property of the button. Or create a container class (that has a backcolor property) and use it as a commandbutton. Mike Gagnon

Hi,

You could also look on the Internet for the CoolPan Class this class has all kind of Buttons, including coloured.
If you cant find the class Email me and I will forward

Have a look at

thread184-390386

I try and avoid Command Button and just use the Click Event in a Label... seems to work fine for most things...

When I need to setfocus to this 'button' I use one of the Payton modified Container Buttons... see thread for details.

I have a similar problem with images in a form. If I make the background transparent in VFP6 it works, but in VFP8 it stays opaque.
Anyone know how to get around this?
