Hi everyone,

Is there anyone who knows how to change the text of Legend in Chart?

Cheers,

Fory

Here is the solution straight from crystal: Basically you have to create your own legend. Might actually be easier to do this in an outside program and insert it into the report.

1. Right-click the chart on the report, and select Chart Expert.

2. Select the Custom Chart radial button, then click the Chart Editor button.

3. Select the legend and go to Chart | Legend, and clear the Display Legend option, then click OK.

4. Select a rectangle from the toolbar and insert it beside the chart. Expand it so that it will fit the content of the new legend.

5. Change the rectangle's background color from black to white, using the Fill button (the right-most button on the horizontal toolbar).

6. Insert the new legend content by selecting the Text button (the T icon) available on the vertical toolbar. Type the text for the first line of the legend and click OK. If no text appears, select black from the Fill button on the horizontal toolbar. Move this text box inside the rectangle created in step 4.

7. Repeat step 6 for each line of text in the legend.

8. Insert small rectangles beside the text boxes in the legend. Use the fill button to color these boxes so they correspond with the appropriate data on the graph.
