Hi
Is there a way to change the $PMRootDir/TgtFiles
directory.
I have a mapping which writes output to a flatfile, but I want it to write to a directory specified by me, inthe session properties, if I change the output directory, it sayd cannot find the directory,
Informatica uses \...\...\ for directory and Unix uses /../../, is there a way I can get around this problem.
Thanks in advance

You can write to any place as long as the path is a valid one (correct syntax) and you have the write access.

I remember writing directly from INFA server to a SQL server elsewhere in the domain. No problem

I had to change the directory names at the Server settings in the WKFL Manager.
Thanks anyways

Yes, then you change generic settings. However you can still overrule this at session level!
