A customer has had issues with their fibre broadband used for SIP where the sessions keep dropping. An SFI engineer is due to come out tomorrow to resolve this but we are expecting the broadband to be down for sometime. This internet connection is connected to LAN 1. There is a separate data internet connection connected to LAN 2.
Is getting the SIP to go out through LAN 2 as simple as changing the IP route to go out through LAN 2 instead of LAN 1 or is there more work required to achieve this?
TIA,
