Hi all,

I´ve a fastt600 turbo connected to one pseries 550 (with 2 switches 2005-Hb16). Also, my RAID is made of 10 disks in RAID 5 mode.

I had created 2 LUNS (150GB) Those are associated to an volume group (ORAVG), it places the dabase´s Oracle 9i.

I want to change the segment size´s LUNS of 64KB to 8KB, because block size´s of the application is 8KB. I know have do it gradually, but i am not sure do it in online.

Could someone tell me if AIX is supported , to realize the change in hot?

Have I do anything plus in the AIX?

Thanks all

If you alter your logical disks presented to AIX ( eg; expand them in size ), you must run chvg -G <vgname> to see the changes. So I think if you change the segmentsize, it will be the same procedure, not sure though

rgds,
