After a recent power failure, our Netware 3.11 server booted back up to what I believe was the 'monitor' screen. I had to esc out of this screen in order to 'set time', as the date had reset to 1988. How do I get back to the 'monitor' screen? And also, how do I get to pconsole to manage the print queues?

Thanks much,

Mike

use the alt/esc to move between screens or type load monitor to reload if you closed it

Use pconsole at the workstation to manage jobs

must have the printserver loaded on the server. As I said, using alt/esc you can toggle beteen the programs loaded

Hi, Mike

At the console :)) prompt on the server, type LOAD MONITOR

To change screens, use ALT-ESC. If the print server is running one of the screens available will be the print server screen which will show you the printers and their status but you can't really do anything there.

Pconsole is a utility run on a workstation. You have to be logged in as a user with print administration rights, then go to SYS:pUBLIC (or map a search drive there) and type PCONSOLE at the DOS prompt.
