Pardon my ignorance (we no longer have a VOIP IT service), but our system was on autopilot for years until recently, when we changed to 5 static IP blocks at all of our stations. I am looking for information on how to change the public IPs that I see listed in the SIP wizard. I tried digging through WebPro but didn't have any luck. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I'm confused. You changed your public IP addresses or your internal IP addresses? I mean, your router/firewall will need to be adjusted accordingly with the port forwarding unless you are using a carrier SBC.

Hey CoralTech, I'll explain my position in a little more detail:

[ul]
[li]We have 7 physical locations around our town with 2 phones a piece[/li]
[li]Those locations recently had their public IPs changed[/li]
[li]Listed in the IP Single Line Telephone (SIP) section of WebPro are all of our phones and their respective IPs (image I attached)[/li]
[/ul]

I am looking for the area to change the IPs for the different extensions, where it says "Using IP Address" if possible.

I don't know. I mean, you shouldn't be exposing anything to the open internet. You should be using either NAT or VPN. I don't think the wizard is designed for this. I can't imagine in todays world running on an exposed phone. You should probably get a local NEC tech to go over your programming. Using regular 3rd party SIP phones or NEC SIP phones? I mean, the NEC SIP phones are capable of VPN tunnels out of the box also NAT..which is easier.

I think we had our previous VOIP IT for about 15 years, and it was set up that way. I will see about getting an NEC tech to take a look somehow (we have some budgetary and geographic issues to contend with). They are NEC phones, and the wizard shows our old public IPs, so it is presumably somewhere in this configurator (or not). Thanks.
