I have an Access 2000 database that someone else built. There is a command button that when clicked prints 6-8 reports on 6-8 different printers throughout our network. One of the printers changed and I cannot figure out how to change the association in the database and point it to the new printer. It uses acViewNormal. How are different printers associated with the different reports? And where do you change them? Thanks!! JoeyZ1998

The way I do it is to open the report in design view, click on File | Print and select the printer from the drop-down combo. Click on OK (to print the report), then click on the save icon before closing the report.
Hope this helps, & Happy Holidays!

Once had a client who had several identical dot matrix printers, but each printer had a different shipping label (e.g. Airborne, FedEx Ground, FedEx Air, UPS, etc. etc.).

We created unique printers depending upon the custom paper size.

Then simply created the report to specifications of the label and print preview it for that specific printer dedicated for that label. The report was formatted to the printer and to the paper size using "Print Preview". In our client's environment, it was the custom paper size.
