Does anyone know of a way to have Citrix NFuse prompt a user to change the password on first logon? When the box is checked NFuse does not prompt the user to change the password at first logon thus creating administrative headaches. Or does anyone know of a change password utility that can be published that gives the appropriate error messages that are related to NT such as password needs to be 8 characters, can't use last 10 etc etc etc... I am using citrix XPa Nfuse 1.6 I have installed citrix Columbia to slove this promblem it is version 6.0 if you have nfuse 1.5 the Columbia version you need is 5.95 you can download fron

Have you worked with Columbia at all? CDN says that it is not tested and Citrix does not support it even though the email link points to citrix. Looking for any information that will help.

Thank you. Oneworld

I have done extensive work with Citrix Columbia. It has many very useful features integrated into it. Technically it is not supported but if you call support they will not turn you away.

Publish the program logoff.exe for all users. On your NFuse site, from the CMC create a ICA File for the app. Logoff.exe. Then go to your web server and create a hyperlink that will launch a new web page, pointing to the ICA file. What happens is the user clicks on the link and gets this page, the program logoff.exe launchs, the OS sees that the user's password is expired and prompts the user to create a new password. After the password is changed the program Logoff.exe runs and effectively loggs the user off the system. This elimates the threat of a user getting a desktop.

TB :)
